Assistant Management Accountant; Part-time

We are looking for a proactive Assistant Management Accountant to join an exciting and growing business on a part-time basis (3 days per week). This is a predominantly remote role
, with travel to the office required once per month
.

Reporting directly to the Finance Director, you will play a key role in supporting the finance function, taking ownership of day-to-day transactional finance activities, maintaining accurate financial records, managing cash flow processes, and assisting with month-end accounting. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys a hands-on role and is keen to develop their skills within a dynamic, fast-growing business.

• Posting customer receipts and supplier payments
• Managing aged debt and resolving customer queries
• Completing bank reconciliations
• Reconciling invoice finance activity
• Assisting with month-end journals
• Maintaining accurate records in Xero
• Supporting the FD with reporting, projects, and process improvements

Essential

• AAT Level 4 qualified, studying CIMA/ACCA, or qualified by experience
• Strong hands-on experience with Xero
• Comfortable managing high volumes of transactions
• Excellent attention to detail and reconciliation skills
• Self-motivated and able to work independently in a remote-first environment
• Eager to learn, develop, and grow with the business

Desirable

• FMCG experience
• Exposure to invoice finance facilities
• Experience with in a high-growth or venture-backed business
