Office Administrator/ Coordinator
Join a well-established Housing Association in a key role supporting the delivery of an efficient and customer-focused repairs and maintenance service. This Voids Scheduler position offers the opportunity to play an important part in ensuring empty properties are brought back into use quickly and efficiently, helping to provide quality homes for residents.
You’ll be coordinating and scheduling works across void properties, working closely with operatives, contractors and internal teams to ensure repairs and maintenance are completed within agreed timescales. This is a busy and varied role that would suit someone who is highly organised, proactive and experienced in managing voids within a housing or property environment.

- Scheduling and coordinating works required to bring void properties back into use
- Managing operative and contractor diaries to ensure works are completed within agreed timescales
- Monitoring outstanding works and proactively chasing updates
- Liaising with contractors, operatives, surveyors and internal teams to resolve scheduling issues
- Updating repairs and housing management systems accurately
- Monitoring the progress of void properties and escalating any delays
- Ensuring work orders, appointments and property records are kept up to date
- Providing regular updates to relevant teams regarding the progress of void works
- Previous experience working with void properties – essential
- Experience with in social housing, housing repairs, property maintenance or a similar environment
- Strong scheduling, coordination and organisational skills
- Excellent communication skills and the confidence to liaise with contractors and internal stakeholders
- Good attention to detail and accurate administrative skills
- Good IT skills and experience using repairs or housing management systems
- NEC Housing experience would be advantageous but is not essential
- The ability to manage a busy workload and prioritise competing demands
- A reliable and professional approach, with good references
- Previous voids experience is essential
- Strong administration and scheduling experience
- Experience with in housing, repairs, maintenance or property services
- Reliable with a strong employment history and good references
- Monday–Friday, 08:00–16:00
- Full-time, office-based initially
- Opportunity to work 1 day from home once fully trained
- Immediate start available
