To plan and deliver high-quality, inclusive teaching that meets the diverse needs of
pupils with complex needs and challenging behaviours

Our College is a specialist school for students with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health needs.

Key Responsibilities
* Plan and deliver engaging, evidence-informed lessons that meet the individual needs of pupils, including those with SEND and trauma histories.
* Use assessment data to monitor pupil progress and adapt teaching strategies accordingly.
* Promote pupils’ social, emotional, and academic development through trauma-informed and therapeutic approaches.
* Maintain high expectations for behaviour and learning, consistent with the school’s behaviour policy and Staff Code of Conduct.
* Collaborate with teaching assistants and specialist staff to provide effective support
Requirements
* Proven experience teaching pupils with
complex needs and challenging behaviour.
* Strong understanding of curriculum,
assessment, and behaviour management in special education settings.
* QTS/QTLS
* Ability to plan, deliver, and assess
effective teaching and learning
* Resilience, empathy, adaptability, and passion for supporting vulnerable pupils
