Do you want a career that actually matters?

Whether you’ve just finished your degree or you’re looking to pivot into a profession that offers more than just a desk and a screen, working in a Secondary School is one of the most rewarding paths you can take.

We are looking for motivated, resilient, and empathetic individuals in the Cannock area to join local secondary schools. You don’t need a teaching degree to start—you just need the right attitude and a desire to help young people succeed.

Roles
  • Teaching Assistant
    :
Work closely with students who need extra support. You’ll be the bridge between the lesson plan and a student’s understanding, helping them overcome barriers to learning.
  • Cover Supervisor
    :
Perfect for those looking to build confidence and leadership. You will manage a classroom and oversee pre-set lessons in the absence of the regular teacher.
What’s in it for you?
  • Full Training Provided:
We don’t expect you to know it all on day one. We provide comprehensive induction and ongoing safeguarding training.
  • Career Progression:
This is a proven stepping stone into a formal Teaching Qualification (PGCE/School Direct).
  • Work-Life Balance:
No evenings, no weekends, and school holidays off.
  • Local Impact:
Work in schools right in your community.
What we are looking for:
  • Graduates from any discipline OR individuals with a strong background in coaching, youth work, or care.
  • A “can‑do” approach and the ability to think on your feet.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with teenagers.
  • Reliability and a commitment to the Cannock school community.
