Teacher – English, Maths & Science (SEN School)

Cannock | Salary: £27,456 – £43,014 | Full Time (40 hrs/week)

We are recruiting English, Maths, and Science Teachers for a specialist school supporting pupils aged 11–19 who face challenges in mainstream education. Small classes, personalised support, and trauma-informed approaches help students thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.

What You’ll Do

Plan and deliver engaging, evidence-informed lessons for pupils with SEND and trauma histories

Use assessment data to track progress and adapt teaching strategies

Promote pupils’ social, emotional, and academic development

Maintain high expectations for behaviour and learning

Collaborate with teaching assistants and specialist staff to provide support

Who We’re Looking For

QTS or QTLS qualified

Experience teaching pupils with complex needs or challenging behaviour

Knowledge of curriculum, assessment, and behaviour management in SEN settings

Resilient, empathetic, adaptable, and passionate about supporting vulnerable pupils
