Our Governing Body is wishing to employ a Teaching Assistant to be located in KS2 in support of pupils with additional needs. Further to securing an EHCP, we are seeking a suitable, warm, caring individual to share the role of supporting a child who has a range of specific needs including communication, interaction and sensory needs. The appointed individual will be supporting the learning and pastoral needs of the pupil/small group of pupils, and will work closely with both school staff and parents.

St Luke’s C.E.(C) Primary School is an exciting school which values those whom work and learn within it. The dedicated and motivated team of staff work hard to maintain the standards and provide many excellent opportunities for learning and enrichment.

The successful candidate will have relevant experience of working in similar settings, supporting primary aged pupils and may have had relevant experience with such needs. • Hold a relevant NVQ Level 3 or are working towards completing.
• Have recent and relevant experience within the primary phase.

• Able to demonstrate commitment to raising standards of teaching, learning and achievement.
