We are seeking a reliable and caring Lunch Time Supervisor to join a lovely, friendly school team in Cannock. The successful candidate will help ensure that pupils have a safe, enjoyable, and well-supervised lunch break while supporting positive behaviour and wellbeing.

The hours for this Lunch Time Supervisor role are 2 hours per day, however, there is an opportunity to top up hours worked by assisting with the school Wrap-Around Care club both before and after school. You would be expected to cover the 5-day working week within school, working for a reputable supply agency on a temporary basis.

The role includes:

Supervising pupils in the dining hall, playground, and other designated areas during lunchtime.
Encouraging good behaviour and positive social interaction between all pupils.
Assisting younger children where needed (e.g., opening food packets).
Ensuring the safety and welfare of all pupils.
Reporting any incidents or concerns to school staff.
The ability to communicate well alongside members of staff (this could include reporting injuries to class teachers etc).
A reliable and punctual staff member.
Previous experience working within a school environment supporting children.

We are looking for someone who:

Enhanced DBS.
Provide 2 references.
The ability to become part of a friendly school team.
Good behaviour management, to ensure positive behaviour in the dinner hall/playground and classroom etc.
Available to start ASAP
Able to commute to Cannock and surrounding areas daily.
Fully registered to work with Academics.

Pay: £13.68 - £14 an hour (dependent upon experience). Holiday pay is included on day rate.
