Overview

If you have a passion for supporting children with special needs, this full-time position in a dedicated Key Stage 1 SEN room is perfect for you. You'll be helping children with a range of learning differences, creating an environment where they can thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.

Responsibilities
  • Provide 1:1 and small group support for children with special educational needs.
  • Work with teachers to create tailored learning plans and strategies.
  • Support students in developing independence and self-regulation skills.
  • Foster a positive, inclusive classroom culture where every child feels valued and supported.
Qualifications
  • Previous experience working with SEN children, preferably in a primary school setting.
  • A calm, patient, and empathetic nature with the ability to build trust and rapport with children.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • A Level 2 or 3 qualification in supporting teaching and learning (or equivalent).
