Are you passionate about supporting young learners and helping them thrive in their early educational journey? Do you have a strong background in delivering Read Write including phonics and experience working with Key Stage 1 pupils? We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our friendly and supportive team at Redhill Primary School, a vibrant primary school committed to nurturing confident, curious, and capable learners.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality Read Write Inc. phonics sessions in small groups and one-to-one settings.
  • Provide tailored support to KS1 children, helping to raise attainment in reading, writing, and early numeracy.
  • Work collaboratively with class teachers to create an inclusive and engaging learning environment.
  • Assist in tracking pupil progress and adapting support strategies accordingly.
  • Foster a positive, nurturing atmosphere that promotes resilience and a love of learning.
We’re looking for someone who
  • Has a proven track record of delivering Read Write Inc. phonics effectively.
  • Brings experience supporting KS1 children, especially those with varying learning needs.
  • Is a team player with excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • Is proactive, patient, and passionate about making a difference.
