You will be involved across the full product lifecycle from concept and detailed design through to build, test, validation, and support of systems in service. The role suits an engineer who enjoys seeing their designs physically built, tested, and proven in real-world environments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop electronic circuits and assemblies (analogue, digital, and mixed signal)
  • Produce schematics, design documentation, and test specifications
  • Support prototype builds and design proving activities
  • Plan and execute hands-on testing, verification, and validation activities
  • Diagnose faults and support design improvements and corrective actions
  • Work closely with mechanical, systems, and manufacturing teams
  • Support qualification, acceptance, and environmental testing where required
  • Contribute to design reviews and technical discussions
  • Ensure designs meet safety, performance, and regulatory requirements
Requirements
  • Degree (or equivalent experience) in Electronic Engineering or a related discipline
  • Proven experience in electronic design (analogue and/or digital)
  • Hands-on experience with test, verification, and fault-finding activities
  • Comfortable working with test equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, power supplies, and signal generators
  • Experience producing technical documentation and test reports
  • Ability to work effectively in a secure, on-site engineering environment
  • Background in maritime, defence, aerospace, or other safety-critical industries
  • Experience supporting products through the full lifecycle (design to in-service support)
  • Exposure to environmental or qualification testing
  • Knowledge of EMC, power electronics, or embedded systems
Additional Information
  • UK nationality required due to the nature of the work
  • Predominantly on-site role due to hands-on testing and secure project requirements
  • Opportunity to work on complex, high-reliability maritime systems where engineering quality truly matters
Why Join?

This is an opportunity to work on cutting-edge maritime systems, combining design ownership with practical, hands-on engineering. You’ll be part of a close-knit technical team where your work has real-world impact and visibility.
