Our client is a respected, privately‑owned Legionella / Water Hygiene specialist with a strong presence across the Midlands region. They are seeking a switched‑on and hardworking Legionella Risk Assessor to cover new and existing commercial and public sector contracts. Applicants must be confident in performing risk assessments on domestic hot and cold and process water systems. It would be advantageous to be located near the M6 for easier travel across the region.

You will be travelling across the following locations:
Cannock, West Bromwich, Walsall, Wolverhampton, Rugeley, Lichfield, Tamworth, Telford, Stafford, Stoke‑on‑Trent, Leek, Derby, Nottingham, Burton upon Trent, Coalville, Loughborough, Leicester, Beeston, Solihull, Stourbridge, Kidderminster, Bridgnorth, Reddich, Coventry, Ruby, Hinckley, Crewe, Macclesfield, Shrewsbury, Buxton.

Experience & Qualifications
  • Strong experience working as a Legionella Risk Assessor
  • Must hold the City and Guilds (WMSoc) in Legionella Risk Assessing
  • Proven knowledge of ACOP L8 and HSG 274 guidelines
  • Flexible to travel in line with company needs
  • Good literacy, numeracy and IT skills
  • Professional manner
The Role
  • Conduct legionella risk assessments on domestic hot and cold, cooling and evaporative water systems
  • Highlight any found compliance issues and make appropriate recommendations
  • Produce detailed technical reports and schematic drawings
  • Create tailored compliance plans
  • Carry out water sampling and temperature monitoring
  • Adhere to agreed personal deadlines
  • Provide updates and technical feedback to clients
  • Maintain strong working relationships with clients
  • Travel in line with company needs
