About the Role:

As a Workshop Plant Engineer, you will be based in the workshop in Cannock, carrying out maintenance, servicing, fault finding and repairs on heavy plant machinery.
You will work on a variety of plant equipment, diagnosing mechanical faults, completing repairs and ensuring machinery is maintained to a high standard and ready for use.
This is a hands-on role suited to someone with strong practical plant experience who enjoys workshop-based engineering and wants a stable, long-term position with regular overtime opportunities.

To succeed as a Workshop Plant Engineer, you will need:

Proven hands-on experience working with heavy plant equipment
Practical knowledge of plant maintenance and repairs
Strong mechanical fault-finding skills
A hands-on, proactive approach to engineering
The ability to work effectively as part of a supportive workshop team
A commitment to safe working practices
No formal engineering qualifications are required for this position. Your practical experience working on plant machinery is what matters most.
