Overview: A well‑known local estate agency requires an experienced mortgage broker / mortgage adviser / mortgage advisor to offer mortgage and protection advice working from the very busy office in the Cannock area dealing with mortgages up to £600k, with an average property value of £200k.

Main Duties: An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced fully CeMAP qualified (or equivalent) mortgage broker / mortgage adviser / mortgage advisor to join part of a group that includes the largest and most successful independent estate agency group in Europe working from a busy office in Cannock. Our client is offering the successful applicant to have flexibility in terms of work‑life balance;

you can benefit from flexible working hours if the 2-3 mortgages have been written. The Cannock office has an extensive database of existing clients, deals with properties up to £600k with an average property value in the area of £200k and over 700 properties sold per month in the area. The busy branch requires a proactive individual to work alongside the team of introducers to contact existing clients to review their existing mortgage and protection policies as well as receiving fresh leads on a day‑to‑day basis.

Coverage of the busy branch includes working alongside a sale‑focused team of negotiators and providing regulated advice on both mortgages and the associated protection products. In addition, you will receive fresh leads from the team on a regular basis and have access to the company’s database of existing clients. Qualified leads are referred over, and you will have at your disposal dozens of different mortgage products and competitive protection policies.

Skills:

As the sole mortgage broker/adviser working within the branch, an excellent knowledge of mortgages and various products is essential, along with the CeMAP qualification (or equivalent). Candidates from tied, independent or banking mortgage environments with a good track record in mortgage sales, and possessing the CeMAP, CF6 or MAQ qualification along with CAS will be considered.
