As a Management Accountant in the retail industry, based near Cannock, you'll play a vital role in managing financial records and ensuring accurate reporting to support business decisions.

They are looking for a qualified Management Accountant (CIMA / ACCA / ACA) to join their team on a permanent basis.

This is a hybrid opportunity paying up to £55,000 near Cannock.

Description

Prepare and analyse monthly management accounts and financial reports.
Monitor budgets and forecasts, providing insights on variances.
Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies.
Support year-end processes, including liaising with auditors.
Provide financial analysis to assist decision-making across the business.
Maintain and develop strong financial controls and processes.
Collaborate with other departments to support financial planning initiatives.
Assist in the preparation of tax returns and other statutory filings.

Profile

A successful Management Accountant should have:

A professional accounting qualification (e.g. ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent).
Experience in preparing management accounts and financial analysis.
Multi site Management Accounts experience.
Able to drive is essential.
Strong knowledge of budgeting and forecasting processes.
An understanding of financial regulations and compliance.
Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel.
Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
The ability to communicate financial information clearly to non-financial stakeholders.

Job Offer

Salary between £50,000 and £55,000, dependent on the level of experience.
