Immediate / Short notice (maximum 2 weeks) The Opportunity Kindsight Recruitment is working on an urgent senior leadership appointment for an experienced Dual Registered Childrens Home Manager to oversee two established childrens residential services supporting young people with emotional and behavioural difficulties (EBD) . This is a high-responsibility, multi-site role requiring a confident, inspection-proven Registered Manager who can stabilise, lead, and drive quality across both homes.

Due to operational need, we are only able to consider candidates who are immediately available or able to start within two weeks .

Key Responsibilities Provide strategic and operational leadership across two childrens residential homes Ensure both services remain fully compliant with Childrens Homes Regulations 2015 and SCCIF Maintain and improve Ofsted outcomes , embedding strong quality assurance frameworks Lead, support, and challenge Registered/Deputy Managers and staff teams Oversee safeguarding, care planning, staffing, rotas, and performance management Act as a visible, credible leader across both services, supporting stability and consistency Liaise with external professionals, placing authorities, and internal stakeholders

Essential Criteria (Non-Negotiable) ?? Please read carefully applications that do not meet the below criteria will not be progressed. Proven experience as a Registered Manager within childrens residential care Good or Outstanding Ofsted outcome at most recent inspection ( URN required ) Demonstrable experience managing multiple services or operating at multi-site level Strong, working knowledge of Childrens Homes Regulations 2015 and SCCIF

Experience with in EBD residential services Ability to start immediately or within a maximum of two weeks ?? We cannot consider:
