Job Purpose:

To oversee and manage all warehouse operations, ensuring the efficient receipt, storage, and despatch of goods. The Warehouse Manager will be responsible for maintaining high levels of inventory accuracy, achieving performance targets through effective KPI management, ensuring Health & Safety compliance, and managing budgets to deliver an efficient, cost-effective warehouse operation.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage all daily warehouse operations, including goods-in, storage, order picking, and despatch. Lead, develop, and motivate warehouse staff, fostering a positive, high-performing team culture. Set, monitor, and maintain Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to measure efficiency, accuracy, productivity, and service levels. Oversee and optimise the use of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Inventory Management Systems (IMS) . Implement and manage a weekly cycle-counting programme to ensure stock accuracy and minimise discrepancies.

Conduct regular stock reconciliations and investigate any variances promptly. Manage warehouse budgets, including labour, equipment, and operational costs, ensuring cost control and financial accountability.
