Air Freight Import Operator

We are recruiting in partnership with our client, a well known global Freight Forwarding and Logistics company for an experienced Airfreight Operator to join their growing import department.
This is an exciting role handling air freight import operations for their existing clients and future business. Daily duties will include handling import global shipments, taking bookings and preparing quotations/negotiating costings, arranging collections and quotations, raising relevant import air freight documentation, clearing import shipments / clearances, lodging air waybills, resolving Customer Service issues/query resolution.
We are seeking a Freight Forwarding candidate with a good, working knowledge of import air freight operations and from handling consignments from start to finish.
Candidates should have a strong ability to communicate with Customers, Airlines, Overseas Agents and Network Partners with good current import airfreight operations skills
This position is offering a salary of up to £30000 to £35,000 DOE
