Senior Accountant, Tax Accountant
I'm going to start with who shouldn't apply.
If you want to put your headphones on and work through a queue without speaking to a client, this isn't the job. If new systems make you uneasy and you'd rather keep doing things the way you learned them, it isn't either.

We're hiring a Semi-Senior Accountant in Canterbury. £31,000 – £39,000.
I've put the number in the post because you should know it before you spend an evening on an application.
What's actually different about it:
You'll speak to clients from your first month.
You'll do management accounts and forecasting alongside the compliance, so you get to see what your work changed rather than just which deadline it met.
And you'll be asked to try new systems, encouraged to use AI everyday, and tell us what works better. Curiosity is part of the job description.
Two things about how we run our practice.
There is a bonus pot is split equally, pro rata for hours, not weighted by seniority.
Everyone gets an hour every week, in the morning, to use however they like. Most of the team exercise. Nobody checks.
Part-qualified or fully qualified is preferred, but it isn't essential.
We've hired on character before and we'd do it again.
31 days holiday (inclusive of bank holidays) rising to 36. Office-based in Canterbury, it's not working from home, but there is flexibility when you need it.
