Project Coordinator
Support the delivery of multimillion-dollar commercial projects across New Zealand while working alongside experienced projects engineering team.
The RoleAs Project Coordinator, you will provide high-level administrative and organisational support to ensure projects are delivered efficiently, accurately and in line with company systems and processes. You will be the backbone of project administration, ensuring nothing is missed and processes are consistently followed.
Key Responsibilities- Supporting Project Managers with project documentation, reporting and administration
- Assisting with project planning, scheduling and program tracking
- Coordinating meetings, preparing agendas and recording minutes
- Managing document control, including drawings, variations and compliance records
- Processing purchase orders, tracking costs and assisting with budget administration
- Liaising with subcontractors, suppliers and internal teams
- Assisting with health and safety documentation and compliance
- Supporting project forecasting and financial reporting requirements
- Maintaining accurate project records within company systems
- Coordinating overseas suppliers and freight
We are seeking a highly organised and detail focused professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys supporting the successful delivery of projects from start to finish.
- Previous experience in a Project Coordinator, Project Administrator, or similar support role
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- High attention to detail and strong documentation capability
- Proficiency across project management systems and Microsoft Office Suite
- Confident communication skills with the ability to liaise with technical and non-technical teams
- Financial administration or cost tracking experience is preferred
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines, with a solutions-focused mindset
