Description

Are you an organised and proactive administrator looking to make a real difference, especially for dogs in need?

Join our team as Centre Administrator, and play a vital role in supporting the Centre Manager and wider team to ensure the smooth, efficient, and successful running of our centre, helping give every dog the best chance of finding their forever home.

This is a fixed term contract until December 2027.

What does this role do?

As Centre Administrator, you will:

  • process invoices, manage weekly banking, record donations, and support budgeting and forecasting with accurate financial data,
  • coordinate the staff rota, handle annual leave requests, and maintain training records and health and safety assessments,
  • order and manage stocks of supplies and uniforms, ensuring purchases follow protocol and support the centre’s retail stock management,
  • liaise with contractors, oversee maintenance records, and support the permit process and work sign-off when management is unavailable,
  • maintain customer-facing materials and online updates, log and follow up IT issues, support audits, and occasionally assist with reception or dog welfare duties.
Could this be you?

As a skilled administrator, with experience in customer facing roles, you will have experience of dealing with financial information and contributing to a budgeting process. You'll also be a good communicator with an understanding of how data can be used to support decisions, combined with a passion for animals and the work we do at Dogs Trust.
