If you hold a Graduate/Post Study work visa, you will only be able to work this role fixed term until the expiry date of your visa.
Responsibilities- Register GP referrals as they arrive.
- Book the first appointment with the patient, providing a positive, friendly, and helpful experience.
- Maintain accurate and timely data to support delivery of National and Trust targets and ensure appropriate remuneration.
- Answer calls promptly and professionally, addressing patient queries such as cancellations or rescheduling.
- Work across multiple IT systems to complete tasks, handling face‑to‑face appointments at the hospital.

Personal/professional attributes- Experience of or awareness of a range of work practices in an office setting and in dealing with customers/patients

- Previous experience of working within a busy environment
- Ability to communicate clearly, both written and verbally
- Ability to multi‑task
- Excel – ability to set up spreadsheets and update reports
- Ability to interact with colleagues and other stakeholders courteously
- Good interpersonal skills
- Accuracy – pays attention to detail
- Ability to prioritise and organise own workload to meet set deadlines
- Use of email for updating calendar and appointments
- Experience of working in a customer service environment
- Able to multi‑task in a fast‑paced environment
- Basic numeracy & literacy
- Educated to GCSE level with A‑C grades in English and Maths or equivalent qualifications
- Has gained or is willing to work towards NVQ2
- To adhere to Governance within the Trust and report as per Trust Guidelines
- Knowledge of Datix reporting
