Our client, a reputable multi-franchise main dealer located in Canterbury, Kent, is seeking a dedicated and skilled Vehicle Technician to join their dynamic team. Duties:
  • Conduct vehicle servicing and repairs to manufacturer standards
  • Perform Electronic Vehicle Health Checks (EVHC) and diagnose faults using advanced diagnostic equipment
  • Undertake routine maintenance tasks such as changing brake pads and conducting inspections
  • Work independently with confidence, demonstrating a proactive approach to workshop tasks
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workshop operations
  • Maintain high standards of workmanship and customer satisfaction
  • Support continual learning, particularly in EV technology and MOT licensing requirements
Requirements:
  • Relevant experience as a Vehicle Service Technician or similar role
  • NVQ Level 2 qualification in vehicle maintenance (Level 3 advantageous)
  • Strong diagnostic skills with the ability to work autonomously
  • A genuine enthusiasm to learn and develop skills in EV technology
  • Valid driving licence
  • Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and good sense of humour
  • Ability to undertake ongoing training and adapt to new technologies
