Vehicle Technician

Our client, a reputable main dealership in Canterbury, Kent, is seeking a Vehicle Technician to join their professional team. This is an excellent opportunity for skilled and experienced motor trade individuals to enhance their careers within a well-established environment.

• Competitive basic salary starting from £26,400, with potential to increase to £30,000 upon EV accreditation
• OTE of up to £34,000 for motivated technicians
• Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 5:30pm — no weekends

Duties of the Vehicle Technician:

• Conduct vehicle servicing and repairs to manufacturer standards
• Perform Electronic Vehicle Health Checks (EVHC)
• Replace brake pads and carry out routine maintenance tasks
• Diagnose faults using the latest diagnostic technology
• Work independently with confidence while maintaining teamwork
• Maintain high standards of workmanship and customer satisfaction
• Assist in ensuring smooth workshop operations and timely service delivery

Requirements of the Vehicle Technician:

• Previous experience as a Vehicle Service Technician or similar role
• Level 2 qualification in vehicle maintenance;
  Level 3 preferred
• NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification advantageous
• Confident working autonomously with minimal supervision as a Vehicle Technician
• Strong work ethic with good sense of humour and professional attitude
• Ability to undertake further training, including EV technology
• Valid UK driving licence
