Research Enterprise and Knowledge Mobilisation (REKM) Development Officer

Full Time (37 hours per week) or Part Time (30 hours per week) will be considered.

This is an exciting opportunity to join the University's Research, Enterprise & Innovation (RE&I) Services, part of the Research, Enterprise & Business Development Directorate. We are a collaborative and forward-thinking team dedicated to supporting research excellence, innovation, and knowledge mobilisation across the University.

You will become part of the Development Services team, which supports the Academic Business Partnering function and works closely with colleagues across the University and with external partners. Our work spans research impact, external engagement and collaboration, income development, and strategic planning for the Research Excellence Framework () and Knowledge Exchange Framework (KEF).

As Research, Enterprise and Knowledge Mobilisation Development Officer, you will play a central role in supporting the University's research and innovation ambitions. Acting as the first point of contact for enquiries from academics, businesses and professional service colleagues, you will provide high-quality operational and administrative support while helping to develop and deliver a wide range of research, enterprise and knowledge mobilisation initiatives.

A key focus of the role will be supporting the development of Continuing Professional Development (CPD), workforce development, employer engagement, and new opportunities for collaboration and income generation. You will build productive relationships with internal and external stakeholders, helping to translate ideas into impactful partnerships and projects.

This is a varied and rewarding role that offers the opportunity to make a tangible contribution to the delivery of the University's Vision 2030 and its strategic ambitions for research, enterprise and innovation. You'll have the chance to lead or contribute to a diverse portfolio of initiatives, working across disciplines and with partners from business, the public sector and the wider community.

We are particularly interested in candidates with experience or a strong interest in supporting projects and activities in the following areas:

  • External Collaboration Development - developing partnerships with businesses and organisations to enhance research, innovation and knowledge exchange.
  • Income Development - identifying and supporting opportunities to generate income through training, CPD and workforce development activities.

If you enjoy building relationships, coordinating projects, and working in a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same, we'd love to hear from you.

How will you work?

We are committed to supporting flexible methods of working wherever possible and this role is…

Flexible and connected (Professional Services) Campus attendance will vary on a day-to-day basis and across the year but must purposefully align to the needs of our students, staff, and stakeholders. Our University is deeply committed to shaping sustainable futures as a key part of its mission and values. If you share this passion, we encourage you to join us in making CCCU a more socially and environmentally conscious, sustainable place to study and work.
