Representing a reputable and established children’s services provider

I am recruiting on behalf of a well‑established and reputable client within children’s social care who is seeking an experienced, social work‑qualified Responsible Individual to oversee both their fostering service and their residential children’s home.

This role requires someone confident, experienced, and capable of providing strong operational leadership while supporting the organisation through an exciting period of growth.

  • Hold RI responsibilities for the residential children’s home (one home at present).
  • Directly line manage :
    Fostering Registered Manager;
    Residential Registered Manager& Clinical Lead
  • Work closely with the Director to support the strategic goal of expanding to four children’s homes by 2030, and driving growth across the fostering service.
  • Maintain high standards of care, compliance, and operational performance with a calm, solutions‑focused approach.
About You

To be successful in this role, you will be :

  • Social work qualified (essential).

  • 3, 4, or 5 days per week, or
  • Starting at 3 days and increasing as the services grow.

The post is predominantly office‑based to enable close collaboration with the Director and effective support for the management team, with some hybrid working available for the right candidate.

  • 35 days annual leave
  • Pension
  • The opportunity to influence and shape a growing and respected organisation
