Simply Education is working with a supportive and inclusive primary school in Canterbury who are looking to appoint a dedicated Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced HLTA or a confident teaching assistant looking to take the next step in their career.

The successful candidate will work closely with class teachers to deliver high‑quality learning experiences across the school, providing whole class cover when required and supporting children to reach their full potential.

• Lead whole‑class teaching in the absence of the class teacher.
• Deliver targeted small‑group and one‑to‑one interventions.
• Support teachers with planning, assessment, and resource preparation.
• Assist in creating an engaging and positive classroom environment.
• Promote the school’s values and contribute to the wider school community.

• HLTA qualification or equivalent experience.
• Strong classroom management and communication skills.
• Experience supporting pupils across EYFS, KS1, or KS2.
• A passion for helping children thrive academically and emotionally.
• Flexibility, reliability, and a positive attitude.
