Are you an enthusiastic and knowledgeable History Teacher looking for a rewarding opportunity in Canterbury? GSL Education Kent are currently supporting a well-regarded secondary school in Canterbury in their search for a dedicated History Teacher to join their humanities department and deliver engaging, high-quality history lessons.

• Deliver engaging and well-structured History lessons across KS3 and KS4
• Plan, prepare, and mark work in line with curriculum expectations
• Inspire students to develop a curiosity and appreciation for History
• Maintain high standards of behaviour and classroom engagement
• Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback
• Contribute positively to the wider humanities department and school community

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
• Strong subject knowledge as a History Teacher
• Experience teaching History at secondary level (KS3 & KS4)
• Ability to motivate and engage learners of all abilities
• Strong classroom management and organisational skills
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting student welfare
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply
