Key Responsibilities

Supporting students’ learning

Helping individuals and small groups understand lesson objectives.

Reinforcing instructions given by the teacher

Providing extra support to students who need it, including those with learning differences or language needs

Classroom support

Assisting with classroom organization and routines

Preparing learning materials and resources

Helping maintain a positive, focused learning environment

Working with the teacher

Collaborating on lesson activities

Sharing observations about student progress or challenges

Supporting assessment activities, such as monitoring participation or collecting work

Behavior and inclusion support

Encouraging positive behavior and engagement

Supporting social and emotional development

Helping ensure all students feel included and supported

Skills and Qualities

Strong communication and teamwork skills

Patience, empathy, and adaptability

An understanding of child development and learning strategies

Ability to follow guidance while also using initiative when appropriate

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
