, you’ll play a vital role in supporting apprentices who need a little extra help to succeed, making a real difference every day.

In this role, you will:

  • Work closely with our Apprenticeship team, providing 1:1 support to apprentices, helping them overcome barriers and achieve their best.
  • Plan and deliver engaging, targeted learning activities that complement individual study programmes.
  • Take responsibility for the design, delivery, and evaluation of learner support programmes.
  • Support apprentices with EHCPs, participating in consultations and ensuring their needs are fully met.
  • Conduct annual reviews to celebrate achievements and plan future progression.
  • Provide guidance and support to apprentices working at Levels 2 and 3, ensuring an inclusive and enriching experience.
  • Contribute to staff training and development, sharing inclusive practices and strategies.

About You

EKC Training is seeking two Inclusive Learning Tutors. As an Inclusive Learning Tutor you will be passionate about removing barriers to learning and supporting apprentices to achieve their full potential. This is a rewarding role for someone who thrives on making a real difference.

You will:

  • Plan and deliver engaging, creative, and innovative sessions tailored to individual needs.
  • Use strong interpersonal skills to build positive relationships and engage reluctant learners.
  • Assess and track learner progress effectively, using this to plan targeted interventions.
  • Support apprentices to develop the skills, confidence and independence they need to succeed.
  • Demonstrate excellent organisation and the ability to manage competing priorities.

You will bring:

  • A positive, empathetic and learner‑centred approach.
  • Experience of working with individuals with learning needs and/or care needs.
  • Ideally, experience of teaching, delivering 1:1 support or workplace training.
  • A willingness to learn and develop, with full training provided for the successful applicant.

Additional requirements:

  • Willingness to travel across college sites and apprentices’ workplaces as required.
