£170 - £260 per day

Acadmics are working with a specialist SEN school in Canterbury who are seeking a passionate and committed KS1 & KS2 Teacher to join their supportive and forward-thinking team.

This role is ideal for a teacher who is driven by impact rather than data, and who is confident adapting teaching to meet the individual needs of pupils with SEN.

The Role

As a SEN Teacher, you will:

Deliver engaging, differentiated lessons across KS1 and KS2

Support pupils with a range of needs, including ASC, SEMH and additional learning needs

Create a safe, structured and nurturing classroom environment

Work closely with Teaching Assistants, therapists and SEN professionals

Use creative approaches to promote academic progress, emotional regulation and independence

Implement EHCP targets and personalised learning strategies

The Ideal Candidate

Hold QTS (or equivalent recognised teaching qualification)

Have experience teaching SEN and/or primary-aged pupils

Are calm, patient and resilient, with strong behaviour-management skills

Are adaptable and confident teaching across mixed abilities

Have a genuine passion for supporting children with additional needs

Are open to training and continuous professional development
