English Lecturer; Temporary

Position: English Lecturer (Temporary)
Temporary English Lecturer (Short-Term) - Immediate Start

We are seeking a temporary English Lecturer for an immediate start to deliver GCSE English Language and Functional Skills.

The successful candidate must be registered on the DBS Update Service.

Hours:

17 hours per week

Contract:

Temporary / short-term

Key Responsibilities

Deliver engaging English Language lessons at GCSE and Functional Skills level

Plan and deliver lessons aligned with curriculum requirements

Assess learner progress and provide feedback

Knowledge, Skills & Experience

Previous experience teaching GCSE English is essential

Some knowledge of AQA criteria is desirable but not essential

Strong classroom management and communication skills

Qualifications

GCSE English

A teaching qualification is preferred but not essential, provided the candidate has relevant teaching experience

This role requires someone who can start immediately and confidently step into a short-term teaching assignment.
