St Thomas of Canterbury College is a state integrated Catholic school for boys in Year 9–13, recognised for its innovative, socially just and inclusive approach to boys’ learning. We are a restorative justice school. We encourage our students to understand the structures which cause social injustice and to have compassion and action for those at the margins of society.
We are seeking an innovative, effective and collaborative Leader of Learning:
Religious Education. A leader with a passion for teaching and learning, a strong knowledge of the curriculum and a commitment to supporting academic excellence in this subject area.
The successful applicant must have a passion for boys education and engaging students from diverse backgrounds and cultures.
This is a full-time, permanent, position commencing at the beginning of term 2 – 20 April 2026.
This is a tagged teaching position. Commitment to building the Catholic special character of the College, a full participation in co-curricular activities, and a willingness and ability to participate in religious instruction appropriate to the special character of the school are conditions of employment.
