Our wonderful rural school of 103 tamariki set in an incredible taiao (environment) with awesome ākonga, kaimahi, Board and parents/caregivers, is seeking an experienced Principal to lead our kura while the Tumuaki is on a Primary Principal’s Study Award from midway Term 2 2026 to the end of the school year (Friday 11 December 2026). Funding is met through the Primary Principal’s Study Award.

Our kura has recently had an excellent ERO review (April, 2025) and the school is looking for a caretaker Principal to ensure our waka continues to progress and meet the needs of its stakeholders. There is a 0.2

FTTE CRT weekly teaching component in our senior Year 5/6 classes, or if you have strengths in junior teaching we can make this work.
