As a Lecturer of Health at EKC group you will teach, train and assess students in a variety of learning environments, ensuring a high-quality learning experience. Your role will also include providing support to learners to enable them to achieve their maximum potential and to lead as appropriate on designated study programmes and/or courses, with a key responsibility for ensuring the design, delivery and evaluation of programme.

You will be highly organised, creative and be able to plan and teach engaging and innovative lessons with demonstrated interpersonal skills. Assessing and tracking student progress, to further plan intervention this will be a vital part of the role and ensuring all students develop the skills they need to succeed.

- High organisation and creative skills, with the ability to plan and deliver engaging lessons.
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and support learners.
- Able to build effective relationships with key stakeholders.
- Experienced in assessing, monitoring, and tracking student progress to inform planning and targeted interventions.
It is a requirement to hold teaching experience or have qualified teacher status. You will have experience of teaching on the T Level Health qualification (Adult Nursing Occupational Specialism) and have proven experience of delivering clinical skills or hold a Science qualification in Biology.

SalaryPlease note that there are two salary scale points for our Lecturer positions. All candidates will start at the introductory salary scale point unless certain criteria are met. Lecturers will normally move up to the highest salary scale once one full academic year of teaching for our group is complete. (Lecturers must be in post by 1st September in any given year to qualify and this is subject to approval).
Therefore, internal applicants in the same role may qualify for the higher salary scale, although should seek clarification.
