We’re looking for a passionate registered ECE Teacher to join our Heathcote Valley team. This is a rare part-time opportunity for a qualified teacher who is committed to supporting children’s learning in a warm, nurturing environment and enjoys being part of a strong local community.
- Part-time role, 20–30 hours per week with the option to pick up additional hours.

You will create a safe, supportive, and engaging learning environment where children can thrive. Working collaboratively with your team, you will foster positive relationships with children, whānau, and colleagues, and contribute to a vibrant centre culture. Responsibilities include planning and implementing an age‑appropriate curriculum, completing developmental assessments and documentation, supporting centre events, and acting as a person responsible when required.
About you- Passionate about working with children aged 3+ years
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Flexible and willing to work across all ages within the preschool environment
- Experienced in, or keen to learn about, the Montessori philosophy
- Available to work across a Monday to Friday roster
- Legally entitled to work in New Zealand. We are not currently providing visa sponsorship opportunities to offshore applicants.
