We are seeking a general teacher to start at Timaru Boys’ High School immediately. This is a fixed term position for the rest of the year. We are looking for a teacher who has trained in any of (or a combination of) the following disciplines - English, mathematics, science, technology, social sciences, Māori.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for teaching and be able to create an engaging learning environment for all students. This position would suit teachers of all levels of experience and we welcome applications from beginning teachers and primary trained teachers. It is a full-time position but we can negotiate for fewer hours if that works better.

Teachers are involved in our extensive co-curricular programme and foster a strong values-based education for boys.
