North Haven is based in the heart of Timaru and is a not-for-profit community ECE centre with a licence for 50 tamariki. We have an experienced and loyal team of eleven permanent kaiako and a purpose-built facility.

We are now seeking an experienced or aspiring leader to join our whānau as the Centre Manager on a permanent basis.

About the role

This role requires a passionate and experienced centre manager or someone with the skills and experience to support a move into a management role. We are seeking someone who is an authentic and effective communicator to work collaboratively alongside the teaching team and drive high quality education and care for our community’s tamariki. This position is the lead oversight requiring experience in the ECE curriculum, health & safety, financial and HR management to meet MOE licensing requirements.

You will have proven experience in building community relationships and be able to develop and motivate a team of incredible teachers.
