Overview

The King's School, a leading independent school with a rich heritage and vibrant boarding community, is seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Activities Leaders to support our 2026 Summer School programmes. This fixed‑term opportunity runs from July to August 2026. The Summer School welcomes students aged 8‑17 from the UK and around the world and combines academic learning with an exceptional co‑curricular programme designed to inspire confidence, connection, and personal growth.

• Shape students’ experience outside the classroom by planning and delivering a varied schedule of sports, arts, team‑building and evening activities, ensuring all students feel engaged, supported, and included.
• Supervise exciting off‑site excursions, offering guidance and fostering a positive atmosphere throughout.
• Provide pastoral care, being a friendly and reassuring presence in boarding houses and supporting students’ wellbeing during their stay.

• Personable, responsible, and proactive with experience working with children or young people.
• Background in sports, arts, outdoor activities, or residential settings is desirable.

• Residential accommodation and meals provided for all summer staff.
