Senior Teaching Assistant - Yr 5&6

FTE £27852.00 (Pro rata £19179.42) working 30 hours per week term time only- 38 weeks

We are seeking an experienced Teaching Assistant to join our friendly and supportive team, working primarily in Year 5/6. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about making a real difference in children’s learning and development.

The successful candidate will:

• Support teaching and learningacross Year 5&6
• Work closely with the class teacher to deliver high-quality learning experiences
• Lead on interventions (teacher planned) for key children
• Support TAs within the Year 5&6 team
• Cover classes (teacher planned)
• Help create an inclusive, nurturing and positive learning environment

• Experience is essential -we are looking for a TA with proven experience in KS2 and covering classes
• Strong understanding of supporting pupils with SEN, especially Autism and SEMH
• Someone patient, proactive and confident in adapting strategies to meet individual needs
• A positive, empathetic approach and genuine commitment to helping children thrive
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
