English Lecturer

Temporary English Lecturer (Short-Term) - Immediate Start

We are seeking a temporary English Lecturer for an immediate start to deliver GCSE English Language and Functional Skills.

The successful candidate must be registered on the DBS Update Service.

Hours: 17 hours per week
Contract: Temporary / short-term

• Deliver engaging English Language lessons at GCSE and Functional Skills level

• Plan and deliver lessons aligned with curriculum requirements

• Assess learner progress and provide feedback

• Previous experience teaching GCSE English is essential

• Some knowledge of AQA criteria is desirable but not essential

• Strong classroom management and communication skills

• GCSE English

• A teaching qualification is preferred but not essential, provided the candidate has relevant teaching experience

This role requires someone who can start immediately and confidently step into a short-term teaching assignment.
