KS1 Teacher - Full-Time - Canterbury - Easter Start

Are you a passionate and dedicated KS1 Teacher looking for a rewarding opportunity this Easter? We are seeking an enthusiastic KS1 Teacher to join a welcoming primary school in Canterbury on a full-time basis.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a committed KS1 Teacher who is eager to inspire young learners and create engaging learning experiences. The successful KS1 Teacher will play a key role in supporting pupils through a crucial stage of their educational journey.

About the role/school

This friendly and inclusive primary school in Canterbury prides itself on creating a nurturing and stimulating environment where children feel supported and motivated to learn. The school has a strong leadership team and a collaborative staff culture.

As a KS1 Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering creative and engaging lessons in line with the National Curriculum. The school is looking for a KS1 Teacher who can foster a positive classroom environment and ensure pupils make strong academic and personal progress.

The ideal KS1 Teacher will be energetic, organised, and confident in delivering high-quality phonics, literacy, and numeracy sessions.

Job Responsibilities

Plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the KS1 National Curriculum

Assess, monitor, and report on pupil progress

Differentiate learning to meet the needs of all pupils

Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment

Work collaboratively with colleagues and support staff

Build strong relationships with parents and carers

Qualifications/Experience

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

Experience teaching in Key Stage 1

Strong knowledge of the KS1 curriculum and phonics schemes

Enhanced DBS Certificate with the Update Service

Right to work in the UK
