FTE), fixed term position.

The role
  • Teaching mathematics across junior levels (year 9 & 10).
  • Contribute to a supportive faculty that values rich tasks, visible learning and effective use of assessment for learning
  • Participate in our whānau-based pastoral system and wider co-curricular life.

Being able to teach junior business studies is an advantage.

You will bring
  • Current NZ teacher registration and NZ secondary mathematics experience (or equivalent).
  • Strong pedagogical practice, including differentiation and effective feedback.
  • Commitment to equitable outcomes, culturally sustaining practice, and Te Tiriti o Waitangi.
  • Willingness to collaborate, reflect and keep learning whilst embracing our whānau culture.
  • Sound understanding of the New Zealand Curriculum including NCEA.
  • An ability to build positive relationships with ākonga and high expectations for every learner in the classroom.
