1st September 2026 - Salary: 32,916 to 51,048 (In line with your current pay scale)

Academics has approached a well‑respected secondary school in Canterbury seeking a Teacher of Geography. This role starts in the new academic year and the successful applicant will be offered a permanent contract.
The school is looking for an ambitious, talented and inspiring classroom practitioner to teach Geography across all ability groups in KS3 and KS4.
What you’ll need to succeed- Be a qualified Teacher (QTS – PGCE,
B.Ed, GTP) - Be experienced in planning an appropriate and challenging curriculum
- Have a thorough knowledge of present curriculum developments, particularly those relating to Geography
- Be an inspiring teacher with real enthusiasm for the subject
- Be able to motivate your students
- Be committed to high standards for both staff and students
- Be prepared to contribute to the extra‑curricular life of the school
- Have excellent knowledge/experience of teaching Geography
