We are seeking a capable and adaptable teacher to join our team fixed term for Terms 3 and 4, 2026.
This is a great opportunity to step into a welcoming school environment, work with a supportive team, and teach junior secondary students across a varied and engaging timetable.
About the role
You will be teaching Years 9 and 10 across a mix of:
- Science
- PE
The timetable is focused on junior classes, so this could suit a teacher who enjoys building strong relationships, keeping students engaged, and bringing energy across more than one learning area.
About you
We are looking for someone who is flexible, positive, and confident working with junior secondary learners.
Ideally, you will bring:
- Confidence teaching junior English, science and/or PE.
- Strong relationship‑building and classroom management skills.
- A practical, team‑focused approach.
- A willingness to contribute positively to the wider school community.
Experience with in a New Zealand school environment would be an advantage, and applicants will need to hold current New Zealand work rights.
