We are looking for an enthusiastic, relational and highly organised Learning Support Coordinator (LSC) to join our team.

Working alongside our SENCO, you will help coordinate learning support across the school, work directly with students, and support teachers and whānau to remove barriers and enable every learner to succeed.

What you'll be doing

As our LSC, you will:

  • Work with our SENCO to coordinate learning support and ensure learners get the right support at the right time.
  • Work closely with kaiako to identify strengths, needs and barriers and develop effective strategies.
  • Work directly with students to support their learning needs.
  • Coordinate with external specialists, agencies and whānau.
  • Build strong, trusting relationships with learners, whānau and staff.
  • Support teachers with inclusive classroom practice and diverse learning needs.
  • Help coordinate Individual Education Plans and other learning-support processes.
  • Maintain clear records and advocate for learners, ensuring their strengths, identity and voice remain central.
  • Contribute to a positive, inclusive school culture where every learner can belong and succeed.

You may be an experienced teacher, SENCO/LSC, specialist teacher or education professional with relevant learning-support experience. What matters most is your ability to build relationships, work collaboratively and make a genuine difference for learners.
