The arts

St Margaret's College offers a unique education for girls from Year 0 through to Year 13, both boarding and day girls. We offer students a dual academic pathway with NCEA and the International Baccalaureate Diploma and a strong emphasis on wellbeing and pastoral care as well as academic success. With a commitment to holistic education, balancing academic excellence with a multitude of co-curricular opportunities, St Margaret's College encourages students and staff to discover their passions and be the very best they can be.

We are currently seeking a motivated and enthusiastic performing arts teacher, who is a dance and drama specialist. Experience in music would be an advantage. The teacher needs to meet and extend the needs of their learners through strong pedagogical practice including digital technology, blended learning, and differentiation. This role would suit a beginning teacher.

Applicants must be able to start on 25 January 2027 and have knowledge of and experience with the New Zealand Curriculum. They must commit to the vision and values of the college and demonstrate a commitment to be part of a well-resourced and supportive environment with motivated students who are keen to learn.
