Lyttelton Primary School sits in the vibrant and picturesque port town of Lyttelton, just a short drive through the tunnel from Christchurch city. We are a full primary school catering for children from Years 1 to 8. We are extremely proud of our culture and approaches to learning that sets us apart from other schools.

A permanent classroom teaching position is available at our kura starting in Term 1, 2027. Classroom level(s) to be determined.

We welcome applications from teachers who will be committed to providing high-quality teaching and learning for our learners, creating an inclusive classroom environment, and building strong relationships with our young people and their whānau.

Being able to think reflectively, demonstrate strong culturally responsive practices and bring one's own interests and skills to enrich learning experiences for our learners is essential. Please state areas of strength - leadership opportunities may be available for the right applicant.

You will work collaboratively within a supportive staff team, contribute to the wider life of the school, and actively engage in our professional learning culture.

Applicants must be NZ registered.

Join us at Lyttelton Primary School and support our learners to be 'Thriving Today - Ready for Tomorrow'.
