Can be based at Canterbury, Maidstone or Medway

£33,000 - £36,000 + Excellent Benefits

An established and highly respected automotive retail group is seeking an Assistant Management Accountant to join its finance team in Canterbury on a maternity cover contract.

This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented and motivated finance professional to gain valuable experience within a fast-paced commercial environment, supporting day-to-day financial reporting and accounting operations.

Reporting to the Management Accountant, responsibilities will include:

• Assisting with forecasting and budgeting activities
• Supporting the preparation of management accounts and financial reports
• Responding to finance-related queries from senior management and operational teams
• Liaising with regional and group finance departments to ensure consistency across reporting processes
• Assisting in maintaining accurate financial records and controls

The successful candidate will demonstrate:
