An established and highly respected automotive retail group is seeking an Assistant Management Accountant to join its finance team on a maternity cover contract.

This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented and motivated finance professional to gain valuable experience within a fast-paced commercial environment, supporting day-to-day financial reporting and accounting operations.

The Role Reporting to the Management Accountant, responsibilities will include:
Assisting with forecasting and budgeting activities Supporting the preparation of management accounts and financial reports Responding to finance-related queries from senior management and operational teams Liaising with regional and group finance departments to ensure consistency across reporting processes Assisting in maintaining accurate financial records and controls

The Candidate The successful candidate will demonstrate:

Previous experience within a Car Dealership and an accounts or finance environment is desirable. Candidates studying towards an accounting qualification or looking to further develop their finance career are encouraged to apply.
