** As a Finance Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day finance work for a growing business, helping to keep financial information clear and reliable. You will work within the Accounting & Finance department and ensure key finance activity is completed accurately and on time.
Client Details This is an excellent opportunity to join this growing company.
Description Prepare the annual FSA UK budget and forecasts, at least quarterly
Prepare the monthly FSA UK management accounts, including:
Actual results
Variances against budget and forecast
Variance analysis, with explanations and a summary of key areas of focus
Guidance on future spending priorities
Prepare cash flow forecasts to support operational and management decision-making
Calculate, prepare and submit P11
Ds to HMRCPrepare and submit VAT returns to HMRCCalculate and pay quarterly Corporation Tax instalments to HMRCPrepare the year-end profit and loss account and balance sheet
Prepare the statutory accounts
Prepare the annual Corporation Tax return
Liaise with auditors and tax advisers prior to the submission of accounts
Other Ad hoc tasks and day to day finance management
Profile
Qualified accountant: CIMA, ACCA or ACA (ICAEW / ICAS)
Able to work autonomously as the sole finance professional in the UK, with sound judgement on when to escalate
Comfortable switching between strategic reporting and hands-on transactional work Practical, well-organised approach; able to manage competing deadlines
High attention to detail and accuracy
Able to handle a growing volume of transactional work efficiently, and to improve processes
Clear communicator, able to present financial information to non-finance colleagues
Advanced Excel and confident with cloud accounting software
Job Offer Part Time (22 hours)
